The Bank of Thailand said its business sentiment index rose in October after dipping in the previous months as Thai companies obtained more orders and raised outputs while their operating Costs declined. The central bank said on its website that the index rose to 51.5 in October, from 49.5 in September. The index stood at 50.9 in Auguest. REUTERS

VNG said it would delay a PO to next year because of volatility in its share price but would go ahead with a planned warrant issue. VNG had planned to issue 440 million new shares, of which 85 million were to be sold in a public offering this year and the balance in an issue of warrants to new and existing shareholders. VNG would go ahead with the plan to give five-year warrants to shareholders to buy shares on a basis of one warrant for three existing shares. REUTERS
